Quality Policy

The KDU Penang University College Library is committed to providing quality services and resources to support the teaching, learning, research and personal development goals of the University College community. To this end, the Library will regularly review and improve the effectiveness of its Quality Management System.

Quality Objectives

In order to ensure the quality of the services and resources provided, the KDU Penang University College Library has set the following quality objectives:

1. Conformance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standards 

Performance standard:  Not more than 2 Improvement Notes for yearly Internal Audit.

2. Provision of access to a collection which is aligned with users’ teaching, learning, research and development goals

Performance standard: All books will be catalogued and made available on the shelves within 20 working days upon receipt. A minimum of 6 books to be catalogued per day if 6 or more books are received at any one time.
